Growing up I played competitive ringette, enjoyed fastball, soccer, water skiing, downhill skiing, and running, among other activities. The more I used my body, the more I was intrigued by how it works and to make it work better. While my journey was ignited by curiosity for the human body, I never dreamt that I could have found a practice as impactful as Manual Osteopathy.
While pursuing a degree in Kinesiology (the study of body movement) at the University of Calgary, I was introduced to Manual Osteopathy. The practice was gentle, mindful, systemically comprehensive and profoundly intriguing. Needless to say, I was beyond fascinated by its benefits! Upon the completion of my degree, I enrolled in the five-year program through the Canadian School of Osteopathy- Manual Practice in Vancouver to become an Osteopathic Manual Therapist.
What I love most about Manual Osteopathy is its appreciation for the interconnectedness and complexity of the human body. We work with each individual on a physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual level to restore harmony between body systems and promote overall well being.
When not practicing Manual Osteopathy you can find me spending time with friends and family, camping, boating, skiing, gardening, biking, running, or spending time with my pup, Loki & partner, Jacob.
I look forward to helping you along your health and wellness journey.
